Cold Cane Labs approached me looking to build out a logo and brand for their pop-up store selling sugar cane juice at festivals and events. They wanted to keep the science connection (they wore lab coats and haz-mat suits while they worked) and also needed to be fun and modern at the same time. One of their long-term goals was to build out a brick-and-mortar space so we conceptualized a few juice bottle packaging ideas as well.
Design
To keep the fun aspect while still maintaining the science element to it, we decided on the illustrated conical flask with a stick of sugar cane standing in as a pipette. The ice forming outside the flask emphasized the cold aspect of the brand’s name.
